ESSEX HUNT CLUB HOCKEY MISSION STATEMENT
Our Mission is to inspire a love for the game of hockey among the Essex Hunt Club members and their children by creating a hockey program that develops competitive skills and reinforces life values, such as dedication, teamwork, good sportsmanship and hard work.
The vision for the program includes:
Our Coaches and Program Leaders: High quality, engaged, volunteer and professional coaching to educate and motivate our young players.
Our Program: Ample ice time for practice and skill development. Competitive challenge through participation in well matched games. Inclusionary opportunities through developmental teams, house leagues and shinny.
Our Players and Their Families: Committed participation that demonstrates dedication to the sport, the club, and one’s team. Respect for teammates, the competition, game officials and all members of the Hunt Club staff.
Through this we aspire to be a model of excellence in recreational hockey.
CODE OF CONDUCT AND SPORTSMANSHIP
We believe in the integrity of our Club & recognize the importance of our sportsmanship code of conduct & our Mission. Behavior that is in violation of our sportsmanship code of conduct is unacceptable as a member of our Club community. We ask you to kindly exhibit good sportsmanship while representing the Essex Hunt Club & please make every effort to foster camaraderie & respect for others, during your exchanges with members & coaches, referees & players. Our Club is committed to providing a caring, friendly, safe environment for all our members & guests so they can participate in Club activities in a relaxed & secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at the Club & will be dealt with promptly & effectively.
